Questing

I am in the direction East the place of new beginnings, the place of the rising sun, the color purplish hues fading into yellow, the place in some traditions of the high flyers and the far seers, and I welcome the insight, and ask, help me to fly wing tip to wing tip with spirit, and give me perspective.

In 2019, my life was turned upside down, and I made the choice to simplify in reaction to circumstances beyond my control.

In the present moment, what is most alive, is to not underestimate if you are experiencing gasighlighting, or controlling dynamics.

Pursuit of one's passion and purpose, yeah, it's important, but not at the expense of your nervous system, and if the person is envious of you, that envy may grow into really harming actions that can be more than just finding yourself in a pickle, but more like, having an out of body experience and being close to death.

Well, I didn't die, and here I am, being present with all that arises, and continuing to do the work.

The non-profit, it didn't survive after I left.

The artists that decided to move on with my dance company, having agreed for it to be collaborative and consensus based, once the coercive controller stepped in, convinced them all to move on without me.

A part of my healing will be, to return to finding a way, to make one more dance, and perform it, to say, I am here! 

You were envious of the work, and that envy almost cost me my life, but I am here.

Once a dancer, always a dancer, but it is more than that.

Dance can be medicine.
